“33 1/3”
Live @ Grimey’s
September 14th, 2004Here’s another track from the Features acoustic record release show for Exhibit A. This classic Features track would only be played once more after this (on November 12th, 2005 at Wall Street in Murfreesboro), and this is the newest version of the song that I own.

Part two of Acoustic Week. Are you ready to rock?!
The Features
“Stagecoach”
Live @ Grimey’s
September 14th, 2004The entire band went unplugged for their Exhibit A record release show at beloved Nashville music store, Grimey’s. The wheezy keyboards, jolly bass and clickity-clack drumming make most all of these tunes downright huggable, and “Stagecoach” is no exception.
I love “Stagecoach.”

Today kicks off Acoustic Week!
The Features
“Concrete”
Live @ Grand Palace
January 21st, 2006This version of “Concrete” comes from one of the first concerts the band performed as just a duo, with Matt on acoustic guitar and kickdrum and Parrish on keyboard. “Concrete” was a newer song around this time, but I already loved it (pretty sure that’s me screaming “Yeah!” all guttural-like during the solo). Also listen closely at the end of the song, when a fan deems the band “Better than Better Than Ezra.”
A VERSION APPEARS ON:
Some Kind of Salvation, album release (2008)
